My name is Joe Kaper and I founded Kaper Insurance Group, LLC on the premise of love and legacy. I have been very fortunate to have seen my three beautiful children grow to be caring independent adults with my oldest now a parent herself. Our relationships continue to grow through our shared experiences both cherished and challenging. With the passing of my life partner several years ago, the impression of what it would be like for my kids to lose me came into focus. Unprepared for such an unexpected event, I realized that I wanted to leave only good memories with my children unburdened by any doubt or frustration. With my passion for small business and a good friend helping me better understand life insurance, I studied for my state exam and became licensed as an independent broker in the State of Maine. Not only have I helped myself but I now have the chance to help others. Although our finality is never easy to think about, knowing that you've protected those loved ones who will carry on makes it easier.
